Meet my New hens (hoping)

Meet my 3 new Wyandottes. 1 silver laced and 2 blue laced. Lately I've been watching a lot of the old episodes of Reba (the tv show) and decided to name them after characters from the show. The silver is Barbara Jean. The one with bluer back feathers in its markings is cheyenne. Which leaves the redder one as Kyra.  I've never done chicks this young before but don't require a heat lamp, just feeding them crumbles and mixed gains at this point. I love the chirping sound they make. 

Rip violet

Violet (my blue orpington hen pictured here) was attacked and killed this morning. Whatever was jumped my fence and totally gutted her :( poor thing. I'm not down to 5 hens.
